Tories are ‘weakening’ fire safety in new schools

SHOCKED unions accused the government yesterday of building new schools that are death traps for children.

The Department of Education issues guidance on what fire safety and prevention measures should be installed when a new school is built.

It ised to require all new schools to have a sprinkler system that is triggered by a fire.
