Yemen: Saudis keep bombing despite UN ceasefire

THE Saudi-led invasion coalition continued its aerial blitz of Yemen overnight into yesterday morning even as a UN-brokered ceasefire came into effect.

The Yemeni Saba news agency quoted officials of the Supreme Political Council (SOC) government yesterday who said jets bombed Bani Hushish and Bani Matar in Sanaa province, home to the capital city.

The raids damaged houses, farms and public buildings, the officials said.
