TORIES are forcing through a “Brexit that works only for bankers and the rich,” John McDonnell will say today as he urges the government to ditch austerity in next week’s mini-budget.
The shadow chancellor will set out three key tests as he turns the spotlight on Philip Hammond — saying he has been “isolated” by other Tories and is too “weak” to bring about an economic recovery.
