Rail bosses ‘bury unhappy passengers’
BOSSES are “burying bad news” about passenger satisfaction on the railways, union leaders said yesterday.
A report from watchdog Transport Focus showed a two-point year-on-year increase in overall satisfaction to 83 per cent in autumn 2015.
But 15 out of 26 operating companies saw their score drop, while satisfaction with punctuality fell for nine of the 26 operating companies.
