Aslef’s Tube drivers agree to all-night service deal
AN ALL-night Tube service in London came a step nearer yesterday when train drivers voted by almost nine to one to accept a pay deal for the service.
Aslef said its members backed the four-year above-inflation wage offer by 88 per cent in a move welcomed by Tube bosses following a similar vote by rail union RMT.
But two other unions, Unite and TSSA, have yet to sign up to the deal and officials said they suspected there was no rush to start a Night Tube.
