Umunna joins pickets for ticket office fight

CHUKA UMUNNA joined rail workers on the picket line yesterday to step up the fight against ticket office closures.

The south London Labour MP met rail union TSSA’s general secretary Manuel Cortes and other members in a protest outside Govia Thameslink’s headquarters.

They handed in a 12,000-strong petition opposing proposals to shut 84 ticket offices across London and the south-east.
