Turkey: Rival to PKK admits Ankara suicide blast
A KURDISH splinter group claimed responsibility yesterday for Sunday’s suicide car bombing that killed 37 people in Ankara.
The Kurdistan Freedom Falcons (TAK), an extremist rival of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), specialises in attacks on civilians and rejects the PKK’s “humanist” politics.
Turkish authorities do not distinguish between the groups.
