Korea: North offers to stop testing Kim’s ‘dagger of destruction’
by Our Foreign Desk
AS NORTH KOREA tested a submarine-launched missile this weekend, the regime’s Foreign Minister Ri Su Yong offered to halt nuclear weapons tests if the US ceases military exercises with the south.
The north’s Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said hereditary leader Kim Jong Un watched the launch of the ballistic missile near the coastal town of Sinpo on Saturday (pictured). KCNA called it a “dagger of destruction” to strike at Pyongyang’s enemies.
