TRAIN drivers unanimously agreed yesterday to give £1,000 to the Morning Star.
The generous donation was made by Aslef delegates as they opened their annual conference at Aviemore in the Scottish Highlands.
Euston branch’s Cliff Holloway described the Star as “one of the few papers that supports the trade union and labour movement, in an otherwise hostile world where most of the papers, and most of the media, support the Conservative Party, the party of the boss class.”
