Rail bosses launch legal bid to shut down ballot
RAIL firm Govia Thameslink is exploiting anti-trade union laws to try to stifle a strike ballot by drivers’ union Aslef on its Southern and Gatwick services.
The company filed papers at the High Court yesterday and expects the matter to be considered at a hearing next week.
The firm secured an injunction against Aslef last month in a dispute over the introduction of longer trains on the Gatwick Express service.
