TENS of thousands of refugees and migrants will lose English language lessons as a result of the government’s adult education cuts, it was revealed yesterday.
English for Speakers of Other Languages (Esol) students are planning a Twitter protest for when Chancellor George Osborne details the cuts in his spending review tomorrow.
Students will tweet the Department of Business Innovation and Skills at 1pm with the hashtag #saveESOL to say how they benefit from improving their English.
