Staff at Stem Tech City Academy in Islington, north London, announced on Monday that they would stage five days of industrial action in the run-up to the Christmas break.
Senior managers put “excessive pressure” on staff to make improvements, which also resulted in a teacher being called late on a Sunday night with “instructions” for the next day’s inspection.
