Deputy PM faces flash occupation reminder of tuition fees U-turn, by Joana Ramiro and Peter Lazenby

Sheffield students occupied Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg’s constituency office yesterday to remind the world of the Deputy PM’s ditched free education promises.

Over a dozen students from Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam universities walked into Mr Clegg’s office in the early morning supported by Unite Community members demonstrating outside.

But South Yorkshire Police were “very quick” to move in, escorting occupiers out less than an hour after the start of the protest.
