Tight-knit Wolves ‘family’ battle past visiting Preston
Wolves 3-2 Preston. By Simon Williams at the Molineux

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS’ on-loan Brazilian striker Leo Bonatini believes that the Championship leaders’ squad is “like a family.”

The Black Country side went top of the Championship following their 2-0 victory over Aston Villa last weekend — the first time they had topped the table since being promoted as champions under Mick McCarthy in 2009.

And Bonatini, who was on the scoresheet against the Villans last time out, netted a brace in Wolves’ 3-2 home win over Preston North End on Saturday to keep his side two points ahead of second-placed Cardiff City.
