MAN of the match Romelu Lukaku scored his first goal of the season against a team currently in the top eight of the Premier League as Manchester United beat Chelsea 2-1 at Old Trafford yesterday afternoon.

The Belgian cancelled out Willian’s opening goal before substitute Jesse Lingard secured the victory with his 13th goal of the season in all competitions.

United went into the game having won just one of their last 14 matches in all competitions against Chelsea, while the Blues had won just two of their last nine away matches in all competitions and were looking to regain a top-four place after slipping to fifth following Spurs’ win over Crystal Place earlier in the day.
