British and German chemicals allegedly found in Ghouta

RUSSIA has claimed that British and German manufactured chemicals and weapons have been found in Syria’s Eastern Ghouta region.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Thursday night that Syrian government troops had found containers of chlorine originating from Germany, along with smoke grenades produced in Salisbury, the British city at the centre of the Skripal poisoning row.

The discovery undermined faith in the “humaneness” of some countries’ leaders, Ms Zhakarova said.
