Dozens of campaigners on an 80-mile march across Scotland from Edinburgh to Faslane to protest against Trident nuclear weapons will join a Scottish CND rally in Glasgow today.

Hundreds of supporters waved the Spring Walk for Peace off from the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday.

As the marchers approached Glasgow yesterday, Mike Arnott of Dundee TUC told the Morning Star: “Morale is high among the three dozen walkers, despite a total absence of sun since Tuesday.
