Marx library aiming for 900 members
The MML wants to attract 900 members to celebrate its 90th year — RALPH GIBSON breaks down the benefits of joining

THE Marx Memorial Library and Workers’ School (MML) is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year. Membership plays a vital role in supporting its work of advancing education, knowledge and learning in all aspects of the science of Marxism, the history of socialism and the working-class movement.

My task is to encourage Star readers to help those celebrations by joining the library and achieving our challenging target of 900 members by the end of this momentous year.

I’ve had the privilege of working temporarily at MML since September and have witnessed first hand the tremendous interest in the collections contained within its Grade II-listed walls.
