MEN’S RUGBY UNION: France face six-time winners New Zealand in the first semi-final at the Under-20 World Championship this afternoon before England meet reigning champions South Africa in their last-four clash.
Both matches take place in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi.

MEN’S BOXING: Russia’s Murat Gassiev retained his WBA heavyweight title after stopping Peter Kadiru in the sixth round on Saturday night in Moscow.
Gassiev dominated the fight and improved his record to 34 wins in 36 bouts.
On the undercard, 2016 Olympic silver medallist Joe Joyce suffered a fifth loss in his last six outings, going down to a technical knockout against Artem Suslenko in the 11th round of their non-title fight.
SPEEDWAY: Three-time individual world champion Tai Woffinden has retired after a succession of serious injuries.
Sixteen months ago a horrifying crash left him in an induced coma with a broken back and multiple other fractures.
Despite racing again this year he now requires more shoulder surgery.
The 35-year-old Scunthorpe-born rider also won two world team championships and 11 grand prix events.
MEN’S RUGBY LEAGUE: West Hull continued their perfect National Conference campaign by brushing aside West Bowling 32-12 to make it 15 consecutive victories.
They still top the National Conference by seven points from second-placed Waterhead, who saw off lowly Lock Lane 48-24.
Hunslet won 22-12 at Wath Brow, Siddal overcame Thatto Heath 22-8 and bottom-of-the-table Rochdale Mayfield beat Heworth 30-18 for their first win of the season.
