THIS morning, the Soviet War Memorial Trust (SWMT) hosts its annual ceremony marking Holocaust Memorial Day at the Soviet war memorial in London.
The memorial is located in Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park, which surrounds the Imperial War Museum in Southwark.
The mayor of Southwark and diplomats from Russia, Belarus and other countries of the former USSR will lay wreaths at the memorial and Southwark Council’s Holocaust memorial tree, which stands nearby.
