New Palestine activist group smashes into Wolverhampton Moog factory

A NEW pro-Palestine direct action group crashed a vehicle through the entrance gates of a US-based aircraft company they say have sent military equipment from Britain to Israel.

Marking their group’s first direct action event, Palestinian Martyrs for Justice members then scaled the Moog factory’s roof and put the site in Wolverhampton out of commission using hand and power tools.

They began their action at 4am with each member wearing a T-shirt featuring the face of “a Palestinian martyr killed by Israel in the past two years … Journalist Hossam Shabat, Professor Refaat Alareer, Surgeon Adnan al-Bursh and child Raghd al-Jabri,” they said.

Moog was accused of sending at least 10 military shipments from Britain to Israel’s Hatzerim air base since December, relating to M-346 Lavi combat aircraft, which are used to train Israeli pilots to fly F-16 and F-35 jets.

Moog was contacted for comment.
