THERE was a distinct feeling — belief even — that things were looking up for Scottish Labour.
It had replaced the Tories as the second party in Scotland. Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar had good, and improving, personal ratings, and both the Tories and the SNP appeared to be imploding.
